What kind of motor coaches do you use?
Our motor coaches are generally 56 passenger luxury motorcoaches with a bathroom, seats that recline and dvd and cd players.
Does the motorcoach have a bathroom?
Yes. There are occasions when there is a substitution because of a mechanical problem, but the buses I request have bathrooms.
Where do I catch the bus?
For regularly scheduled trips, there are two pick up spots in Bluffton and one in Savannah.
(1)Sun City residents catch the bus in the RV parking lot before you go up to the British Open Pub.
(2) Others catch the bus in the Hardeville Wal-Mart parking lot behind the Kangaroo service station.
(3) Savannah area residents catch the bus in the Hardees parking lot at the Pooler exit.
Do trips ever originate on Hilton Head?
Yes. When trips are customized for a group, they originate wherever the group requests.
Who escorts the trips?
Either I will escort the trip or one of my associates. On occasion, there will be two of us.
I don’t drive in the dark. Can you get me a ride to Bluffton?
We will give you the names of other people who are going from your area and we will try to help you work it out so you can join the trip.
I am single and would like to go on an overnight trip, but I do not have anybody to travel with. Can you find me a roommate?
We will put you in touch with other singles looking for a roommate. We suggest you sign up for the trip as early as possible to allow for time to find a roommate.
Do you ever let small dogs travel on the bus?
What is your cancellations policy?
If you cancel before the published deadline date, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after that date , you can sell or give away your space to someone else, but there are no refunds.
What does the “trip deadline” mean?
The minimum number of people (USUALLY 25) must be signed up for the trip by the "trip deadline" date or the trip will be cancelled. We strongly recommend you sign up and pay as early as possible.
Can I sign up after the "deadline date?"
Trips remain open as long as space is available. If you find a trip that interests you and it is past the deadline date, sign up online asap.
Can I send in a deposit?
Full payment is required to assure your space on a trip. There are no deposits.
Do you sell trip insurance?
Trip insurance can be arranged.
What do you mean when you ask “do you have any dietary needs or special requests?”
Examples are -If you are a vegetarian; have problems walking and need to be near an elevator; want a king size bed. Restaurants and hotels are more likely to accommodate your wishes if we let them know ahead of time.
Are tips included in the price of the trip?
Tips and gratuities for meals and hotels included in the trip package and generally, tip for the bus driver are included in the price of the trip. Tips for guides for the various tours are at your discretion.
Do you take credit cards?

How do I sign up to receive trip updates vis e-newsletter and mailings?
Go to www.scottiedavis.com and fill out the information under "contact." That will put you on our e-newsletter and regular mailing list.

Do you also talk about travel on the radio?
Yes. On Thursday mornings around 8:10 am on 1130 AM and 93.5 FM, The Island, I am on Monty Jett's morning show with "Weekend Get-Aways on a Tank of Gas." These are travel tip on upcoming festivals and seasonal places to visit close by.
